Church Architecture/ History/ Photosites

UK County Sites

Of varied content and completeness, sometimes one picture per church, sometimes a full history and multiple pictures. The GENUKI Yorkshire sites of Colin Hinson are particularly interesting and include medieval churches, small Victorian ones in rural areas, and a whole host of chapels and Catholic churches throughout Yorkshire. Simon's Suffolk Churches is a personal review of visits to each church, now he has extended his coverage to Norfolk too.

Not every county is included as some have no useful all-inclusive site. Over the years there have also been some major losses of great sites. However Steve Bulman's site (The Churches of Britain and Ireland) goes from strength to strength with a vast collection of photographs, organised by county / unitary authority.
